The Conference

The 15th Vienna Conference on Instrumentation (VCI2019) will be held in Vienna from 18-22 February 2019. An associated Industrial Exhibition will be organized on the first three days of the Conference February 18th - 20th, 2019, to which we would like to invite your company to participate.

Vienna Conference on Instrumentation is the new name since 2001 of the series of former Vienna Wire Chamber Conferences founded by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The first Vienna Conference took place in 1978. The present Conference will be the 15th Conference of this series.

The Venue

The Conference will take place in the Vienna University of Technology. This place is near the Vienna Opera, right in the centre of the city. Approximately 300 participants from around 30 countries usually attend the Conference. Several participants are decision-making members of large research centres in the field of nuclear and particle physics or other disciplines mentioned above. Many young researchers will be encouraged to attend the Conference.

The Offer

We would like to invite you to attend the Conference and are pleased to offer you the following possibilities to present your products:

Exhibition of your Products

The exhibition time is the first three days of the Conference February 18th - 20th, 2019. The location of the exhibition is close to the exits of the main Conference Hall. During coffee breaks the coffee will be served in this area. Sufficient time for visiting the exhibition without talks is foreseen.

Fee for an exhibition area of 1.5 x 2 m: Euro 1750,-

Equipment included: 2 chairs, 1 table, power connection, WLAN network

Registration of 2 persons for the whole duration of the conference including participation at all Conference sessions and social events (Welcome Reception, Concert, and Conference Dinner) is included.

As only limited space is available the allocation is according to the sequence of booking and payment.

Flyer in delegates bag

As a complement to the Industrial Exhibition, the Conference Organisers offer alternative publicity opportunities. These include the possibility of placing flyers (or other promotional items, such as pens) in delegates' bags, as well as generally sponsoring the Conference; sponsors will be listed in the Conference Program.

Fee for a flyer in delegates' bag: Euro 800.-

Sponsorship of a social event

We are inviting you to be sponsor of one of the high quality social events: The Welcome Cocktail Party with music on Monday, the concert on Wednesday or the conference dinner on Thursday. Sponsoring companies are named the exclusive official sponsor of this event and are included in the Conference Program (one page will be devoted to each event). In case you would like to receive more information please contact the organizing committee.

Invoice

For booking an exhibition area, please complete the booking form and return it by fax (+43-1-5447328-54) or e-mail to the organisers. Upon receipt of your definite order the conference office will send an invoice to your address with the confirmation of your booking and the period of the exhibition. Full advance payment is required.

Cancellation

Any changes and cancellations must be communicated in writing to the chairman of the organising committee M. Krammer. Upon receipt of a written cancellation notice before January 11, 2019, 50% of the total booking fee will be refunded. No refund can be made for cancellation after this date. Any refunds will be made after the Conference.
